ABOUT GEM

GEM Buildings was founded in 1985 to fill a void in the building industry and since that time GEM has designed, fabricated and packaged a wide variety of projects, including single projects in excess of 2 million square feet. We provide custom solutions designed for our client's specific building needs. We have a DESIGN/BUILD philosophy that is an integrated process which includes and involves the client at the earliest possible stage in a project and continues, from inception through fabrication and erection of the building.

GEM is unique in that we are not locked into specific pre-determined solutions for our clients. Our "Build Different" philosophy allows us complete flexibility to design and build what is best for the client, as GEM does not have an inventory to design around. GEM is a DESIGN/BUILD manufacturer that can blend conventional structural materials, tapered rigid frames, cold form members and a variety of other materials to produce a unique engineered package that is specifically suited for the project requirements.

We provide structural steel buildings, Pre-engineered metal buildings and Division 5 packages with a proprietary approach that provides the client with maximum design flexibility, substantial time savings and projects that are on-budget. Where possible, we take a "Value Engineering" approach to projects that assures the clients overall needs are met with the right solution and providing the highest value for the dollars spent.
